Bootstrap employs a qualified Skills for Life tutor to deliver literacy and numeracy provision as part of its employability skills programmes in Pennine Lancashire.

Personal development
Bootstrap delivers a range of personal development workshops on assertiveness skills, organisational skills, communication and presentation skills. In addition, personal development forms a central part of our work with users of both primary and secondary mental health services, with carers as part of our Carers Personal Development Programme, and within our employability and skills programmes. In addition, aspects of our work with people with learning disabilities is underpinned by accredited learning opportunities through our license to deliver a range of units and courses accredited by the National Open College Network, and as part of the Bootstrap in the Park Day Service.
