Rhubarb Café Bar
In December 2005 Bootstrap opened Rhubarb Café Bar within Blackburn Visitors Centre on Church Street. Rhubarb serves meals and snacks with an emphasis on local, fair trade and some organic products. Rhubarb is a training environment with opportunities available for work experience in Catering, Retail and Customer Service. A number of ex-trainees work at Rhubarb.
Prestige Cleaning
Prestige Cleaning is a social enterprise started by
Bootstrap in May 2004.
Initial start up funding was granted by Care Network.
Prestige provides: 
Cleaning Laundry Shopping services
By May 2008 Prestige provided over 400 hours of services
each week to 181 customers, and employed 31 Home Helps.
All Home Helps are subject to an Enhanced CRB check.
Bootstrap Accountancy Services
Bootstrap Services (Blackburn) Ltd are the trading arm of Bootstrap Enterprises and incorporate Accountancy Services. This department comprises two full time and one part time member of staff and provides full bookkeeping, payroll and accountancy preparation services for the charitable and community business sector. They have experience in a wide range of charities from small charitable organisations requiring the minimum of accounting requirements to limited companies.
They offer training on computerised and manual bookkeeping systems (including payroll processing) and can give advice to assist in compiling budget and cash flow reports, together with the start up and implementation of financial control systems.
