Outreach Horticulture projects

These projects are tailor made to the organisations requirements / tenant’s requirements examples such as:

  • Planning and developing waste land together
  • Community garden projects
  • Ensuring patients, tenants and service user’s needs are taking into consideration when planning projects
  • Service user lead projects
  • Health and Safety risk assessments
  • Community integration
  • Partnership working
  • Peer support groups
Both units are accessible to all and deliver sessions around woodcraft and woodwork such as:
  • Designing and Building garden planters
  • Bird boxes and bird tables (variety off different models)
  • Garden benches
  • Children’s furniture
  • Rabbit and small animal hutches
  • Individual projects
  • Signs
  • Supporting others
  • Learn and develop your knowledge on hand and power tools
  • Sell items that are made
  • Participate in community events
  • Make new friends
  • Working with local organisations to meet orders (local schools and hospitals)

  • Vocational rehabilitation packages for individuals who have sustained acquired brain injuries.
  • Eco therapies  for individuals with mental ill health
  • Individual programs for individuals with learning disabilities and support needs
  • Volunteer  programs in health and Social Care and Site maintenance
