Bootstrap Supported Employment achieve outstanding OFSTED results
Bootstrap has been awarded a unique treble by OFSTED. The Workstep programme, which is delivered by Bootstrap on behalf of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, has achieved an unprecedented series of Grade 1s (Outstanding) following its 2008 inspection by OFSTED for the quality of the programme, the equality of opportunity it affords clients, and the capacity of the organisation to keep on improving in the future, as well as a Grade 2 (Good) for the overall programme. Workstep is a DWP programme supporting people facing complex or multiple barriers to work, and forms part of Bootstrap`s strategic approach to worklessness in Pennine Lancashire.
