`Workroutes`
`Workroutes`, the Blackburn with Darwen City Employment Strategy pilot, have commissioned Bootstrap to deliver a project offering a supported employment model to work with 16-20 year olds.
The `Gateway` project forms part of the borough`s continuing strategy to reduce the number of young people in the NEET category (not in education, employment or training). It will provide a gateway into paid employment for young people with support needs who have failed to make the transition into employment from work-based learning, or who are currently trying to make that transition into work but need additional support based on the supported employment model.
